Hi Brian and Edward,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your LMS reporting.

It sounds like you see a completion status. The completion status monitors when learners finish a course. The completion status is either Complete or Incomplete. The success status monitors how learners perform.

When choosing Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed, the completion and success status are sent to the LMS. These options are most likely to record both completion and success statuses in your LMS. If you do not want the completion status reported, you may consider using Completed/Incomplete or Completed/Failed.

Leslie,

First, thank you for your reply. Now I changed the Reporting and Tracking Option when publishing this course to Passed/Failed (see attached TrackingOption) . My trigger from my results page in the course is set to Incomplete/Failed (see attached TriggerFailed) . If I fail the course with the score of 33.33% the LMS shows the status of Not Complete (see attached NotComplete).  I am not seeing any status or success indication that I failed the assessment.

Publishing software is Articulate 360 Storyline.

Please Advise.

Thanks for the update, Edward.

I'm not sure what the trigger in your TriggerFailed image is for?

You mentioned failing the course, and I can see that this score is sent to the LMS. In your TrackingOption image, you still have the project set to Passed/Failed, which is what I'd adjust.

This information can vary across LMS systems, so an easy comparison can be to test in another environment, such as SCORM Cloud.

If you'd prefer to work directly with our support engineers to investigate what's happening with your permission, please privately share your .story project file by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
